Structurflex’s Westlake Girls High School Sports Facility won the OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in the 2013 International Achievement Awards’ largest category – Tensile Structures, more than 2,300 square meters (24,756 square feet), and our Rydges Hotel Terrace Canopy picked up the award for OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT in Tensioned Awnings and Canopies.
The awards are held annually to highlight truly spectacular work in the specialty fabrics industry. The winners were selected based on complexity, design, workmanship, uniqueness and function.
The awards were announced on October 24th at the IFAI Specialty Fabrics Expo 2013 and Advanced Textiles Conference & Trade Show, at the Orlando Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. IFAI received a total of 236 entries from 13 countries that were submitted for 29 categories in this year’s competition.
These two high profile awards are great recognition of the design and innovation excellence, and the commitment to inspired engineering of the Structurflex team.
