PUBLIC ART

Tensile membranes are an ideal choice for outdoor public art. They can be formed into almost any shape and retain their structure over time. Both the structure and the appearance of the resulting tensile sculptures can withstand the elements, even in harsh climates.

Because tensile fabrics are lightweight and easy to transport, they remain options even for art that is to be sited in remote or difficult-to-access locations. Coated PES and coated PES mesh are suitable for both kinetic and static sculptures. Even the most intricate and complex designs can be realized with a tensile structured system.

Structurflex has worked with many artists around the world, the most famous being Anish Kapoor with Gibbs Farm.
