Soccer (football) is the most popular sport in the world, and when the Rio Tinto Stadium wanted to make its visual impact on par with what went on down on the field, they came to Structurflex with their issues. We were up to the challenge and created something that adds a stunning visual value to the Salt Lake City skyline.
Structurflex used the Rio Tinto opportunity to add something stunning to an ordinary-looking structure. We worked closely with the stadium team to bring it to fruition. From design and conceptualization to installation, we helped make the initial vision a tanglble reality.
The PTFE membrane we chose to fabricate this roof from is translucent and screens out ultraviolet rays and excess heat. The stadium will provide decades of top-tier performance both on the field and in the structure itself.
